L รข u N a y is a part of the Overlapping Discrete Boundaries project initiated by Alessandro Carboni. For this performance z25.org was responsible for the development of the motion tracking software and digital visuals.

The idea for the project was born during Alessandro his last journey to the big cites of Southeast Asia. This project is a first step in trying to explore possibilities to visualize the energies and tensions of the big city.

In Lau Nay, the choreography becomes a tool for investigating, studying and codifying the cognitive, perceptual and mnemonic. The body of the dancer becomes the territory in which to project and translate the real spaces to metaphorical and psychological spaces.

The created visuals try to support and investigate the energies and positive or negatives spaces that are present in big cities.

The created digital visual are made to support the performance. Additionally, these visuals are also a investigation of how to visualize the the energy and positive or negative spaces that are present in the large cities.

The performance was held 20&21 may at the Festival Fabbrica Europa Teatro Scandicci (Italy)
